Now, a little bit about me. I’m just an ole Tennessee, cat lovin’, baseball yellin’, red hattin’ grandma who loves livin’ and makin’ quilts! If you look closely in one of the pictures on my site, you will meet my steady companion, Patches. (Now, isn’t that name appropriate for my sweet kitty?) I never thought I would want a cat, but after my children left home, I gave it a try. She is certainly a lot of company.

On to the “baseball yellin’”. I am a big fan of the Huntsville Stars (AA affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers). Most summer nights you will find me at the ball park. To me the AA teams are the best games to watch. Most future major leaguers come through our town and lots of them have sat at my dinner table. I have lots and lots of fun meeting new people and yellin’ at the games.

And now for the “red hattin’”. I am the FQM of the Diamond Damsels Chapter, Red Hat Society. As such, my name is Diamond Girl. We get-together for fun, food, and laughter once a month. Last night, one of our Damsels hosted a chili supper for our chapter. Then we played games until late in the evening (around 9:00). This is so much fun…….putting on the purple cloths, gaudy diamond (crystal) jewelry, red shoes, and red hats. Oh, I love my red hat sisters!

And finally, for the real loves of my life! My children…………2 daughters, 1 grandson, and a granddaughter on the way. They make me so happy!
